This FM26 Best young teams to manage guide will detail what clubs I advise taking over to be at the helm of a youth movement. Some clubs get pretty heavily favoured in the game and so I’ll be going off of who has the most prospects to make my advisement. FM26 has released over on Steam to very negative reviews with the new-look engine going under the hammer from players.

FM26 Best Young Teams to Manage Walkthrough

Lyon

As one of Ligue 1’s premier talent producers, Lyon has been a great team to manage for wonderkid enthusiasts for some time. Recent financial woes have forced them to lean on their academy even more, now boasting a strong lineup of prospects in the senior squad.

To start you will be able to make the most of talent like Sael Kumbadi, Khalis Merah, Malick Fofana, Alejandro Gomes Rodriguez, and Enzo Molebe.

Stuttgart

Another young team but one with a really great future core, if you can keep them. Dennis Seimen is a top goalkeeping prospect with Finn Jeltsch looking like a great defensive anchor. Andres Chema is an elite DM in waiting with Badredine Bouanani being ready to lead the attack.

Tottenham

While there is the more obvious pick of Chelsea as the best youth-led team in England, there is a more interesting dynamic with Tottenham Hotspur. They are a team who have failed to really break into the winning ways of the major English clubs and breaking through that ceiling is avery interesting save idea.

Tottenham is loaded with prospects that you can bring through like Lucas Bergvall, Luka Vuskovic, George Abbott, Archie Gray, Callum Olusesi, Mikey Moore, and potential crown jewel Lucas Williams-Barnett.

Udinese

Not as loaded as the other teams but a very interesting Italian challenge would be Udinese. They have less prospects than the others on this list but what a prospect list it is. Alessandro Nunziante is projected to be one of the game’s best shot-stoppers, Matteo Palma is an elite centre-back prospect, Lennon Miller could lead a midfield, and Iker Bravo is a future marksman for a top team.

With Udinese, the fun will be succeeding with this crop and trying to hold onto them until their value can bring in enough money to replenish.

AZ Alkmaar

AZ are potentially the most exciting team in the Eredivisie based on potential ceilings. There are some fascinating position battles to deal with as manager, most notably in goal where Quenten Attigah and Rome-Jayden Owusu-Oduro are considered two of the best goalkeeping wonderkids in the game.

Beyond that AZ also offers up some interesting names like Rayan Atikallah, Latrell Aken, Enoch Mastoras, Kees Smit, and Wassim Bouziane to name just a few.

Other Expected Clubs

There’s some standard picks too as the game has always been skewed to some nations. FC Porto, Benfica, Sportingm and Ajax all have a lot of young talents as expected.

Women’s Football Young Teams to Pick

Valarenga

Norwegian outfit Valarenga lead the way for talent production in FM26 in the region. They have five strong wonderkid prospects who you will have to manage. Marie Moen Preus, Tomine Enger, and Saedis Run Heioarsdottir are all projected to reach the top of the women’s game. How far will they go with you?

Paris Saint-Germain

While it may be expected that PSG would dominate they have usually been giving up ground in Division 1 to OL Lyonnes (Lyon) and have been forced to rely on developing young players. They have one of the biggest collections of prospects in FM 26.

They have some solid hands but also stars like Noemie Fatier, Aya Ait Khouya Mouh, Tara Elimbi Gilbert, Anais Ebayilin, Tante Diakite, Marie Estella Lafontaine, and Froya Dorsin.

Paris FC

Another noisy French neighbour, Paris FC are a strong women’s team and have recently been bolstered with some additional young talents. Competing with OL and PSG will be difficult but thats where the fun comes in right?

Melween N’Dongala will be the big focus but shouldn’t overshadow the exciting pair of Fiona Liaigre and Oumou Sidibe in the back line.

Bayer Leverkusen

The women’s Bundesliga is a real two-horse race between Bayern and Wolfsburg but in FM26, Leverkusen have a strong crop of young talents that could make a move up the table. Led by generational defensive midfielder Sofie Zdebel, there is a decent group of midfield talent that could propel Leverkusen to greatness.

Juventus

While they have fallen a bit away from their best, Juventus is a team that the new game has primed to make a charge back to the top of Italy. The current holders of the title are in the mid-table mire currently but have the talent to make a run back to the top to stop another Roma title win.

The midfield duo of Eva Schatzer and Elsa Pelgander are the main base you can build around with Chiara Beccari capable of moving up to play as a striker with sky-high potential.

Real Madrid

Linda Caicedo. Enough said. Barcelona Femeni are absurdly dominant domestically but in a video game, they are beatable. Real Madrid are best placed to make that leap thanks to their outstanding young crop.
