Palia Ribbontail Ray Walkthrough

The Ribbontail Ray is an uncommon fish that can only be caught at specific in-game times which makes it harder to grind for one. It is available in the morning (3am-6am) and evening (6pm-9pm) giving you a smaller window to reel one in.

The fish is only able to be caught off the Bahari Coast. That is anything along the right side of the map, a thankfully large space to fish in. The only lure that this fish will respond to is Worms.

So, fish along the Bahari Coast with a heap of worms for bait at the aforementioned time to try and catch a Ribbontail Ray. Once you have one it is only needed for a singular quest line, Elouisa’s level 3 friendship quest. You will not have to go through this again for a mandatory thing, the only other use could be as a weekly want gift but those are temporary.
