F1 25 Australia Setup Guide

Published on:

This f1 25 Australia setup guide will detail how best to fine-tune the car for the opening race of the season. Car setups are a common mechanic across F1 and F1 Manager with each game having its own distinct meta that improves track-by-track performance. That is why I’ll be going through each track and explaining the best settings to use. F1 25 is the latest addition to the annual EA/Codemasters release and has released on Steam and other sites to a very strong reception from players.

F1 25 Australia Setup Walkthrough

Track Details

This is a faster track than most and is one of the most enjoyable to run as a player. The best way to get ahead is making the most of the speeding opportunities to maximise top speed and limiting problems on the fast turns.

Aerodynamics

The ideal for the front wing is 23 and the rear wing goes to 15. This allows the car to remain loose and quick but offers just enough downforce to prevent you from spinning wildly on the track’s turns.

Transmission

Adjustment on throttle goes to 90 while the off throttle is at 45, engine braking set to 50. Offers enough leeway when dealing with the turns but should keep the car tight enough.

Suspension Geometry

As has become standard low Camber angles are the ideal. -3.5 front and -2 rear with 0.00 front toe and a slight tweak to 0.10 rear toe.

Suspension

The ideal suspension settings are in order as follows:

  • Front S: 41
  • Rear S: 2
  • Front A-R: 12
  • Rear A-R: 21
  • Front Ride: 21
  • Rear Ride: 49

In a big adjustment to last year’s game the anti-roll bar is much higher, making it harder to mess up on the harsh Australian turns. The front of the car is low which means you’ll have to avoid the red, harsh areas. Rear suspension is very low allowing the car’s back to move with ease around the turns.

Brakes

Break Pressure at 100, Front break bias at 52. These are one of the less adjustable settings anytime I’ve looked into an F1 game.

Tyre Pressure

Front tyres on both sides should remain at 29. Rear both sides can be 26 or lower with little issue but 26 is useful for this specific tuning.
