Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the next mainline Pokémon title, launches on October 16, 2025. Players can purchase it on Nintendo Switch and choose to upgrade to the Switch 2 edition for an enhanced experience. Nintendo Switch 2 releases on the 5th of June 2025 and will give players a more robust gaming experience.

Pokemon Legends ZA Release Date Confirmed

Interestingly enough, The Pokémon Company announced on their social platforms that a Pokémon Presents broadcast will air on the 22nd of July. The fact that The Pokémon Company announced this broadcast almost two months in advance has raised eyebrows. These broadcasts give fans of the series information on upcoming projects that can range from television shows, trading cards and video games.
However, there’s a great chance that we’ll receive even more information on their upcoming title, Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Considering the fact that the game releases later this year, and we have not received much information thus far, it’s safe to assume it will appear throughout the broadcast. Fans of the series are excited about the return of Mega Evolutions. Giving older Pokémon new forms with changing appearances, visuals and abilities. If Legends: Z-A is shown, many are anticipating new Mega Evolutions to be unveiled.
