For the first time in the history of EA Sports College Football, two wide receivers feature on the game’s cover. Alabama Crimson Tide’s Ryan Williams and Ohio State Buckeye’s Jeremiah Smith. They earned their spots for their explosive freshman seasons, with Williams securing 48 receptions for 865 yards and 8 touchdowns. Smith was a key piece for the Buckeyes’ success leading them to the National Championship. He was able to secure 76 receptions for over 1,300 yards and 15 touchdowns.
However, looking further to the deluxe edition of College Football 26, it expands the roster and real estate on the cover. Featuring coaches like Notre Dame’s Marcus Freeman and Arizona State’s Kenny Dillingham. Even legacy players such as Tim Tebow and Reggie Bush make an appearance.
