Cubic Odyssey Class Guide

Published on:

This Cubic Odyssey class guide wil dive into the game and the available classes for your created player. In exploration, crafting-focused games we don’t often see classes included as something important. In this game, though, there’s benefits to each class that I will detail so you can pick the one you want most. Cubic Odyssey is the latest open world crafter with base-building mechanics to release on Steam, it has been met with a good reception from players.

Cubic Odyssey Class Walkthrough

Miner

The miner is a strong unit for resource-gathering and efficient impact earlier in the game. It has of course got quicker mining speed, it has a higher chance of producing extra raw materials, and has bonuses both on land and in space.

The Miner is a good class choice for the early parts of the game and can make the wait for upgrades a little shorter. It cuts down the time you’ll spend exploring for resources

Crafter

The crafter is able to build and upgrade with less cost and greater efficiency. It has cheaper gear-repair rates, bonuses to crafted items, and can sometimes include mods on crafted gear. While the Miner is a good class for the early game, the Crafter is a more long-term decision.

It can have a positive impact on your gear and ability both early on in the runtime and later when things get challenging but resources are more plentiful. The cost of repairing gear also gets very high later in the game so the Crafter’s discount can save you a heap on costs.

Pilot

The pilot allows the spaceship to use less energy when flying, lowers ship repair costs, and allows for better shields on the ship. This is another class that is better later in the game as you’ll notice the improvements once you start travelling away from the base planet more often.

The only issue with this class is it’s dedicated to just one aspect of the game instead of helping any other type of combat or resource gathering.

Knight

The Knight class gives bonuses in combat, specifically when dealing with dark enemies. It does more damage to Red Darkness enemies, clears out Dark Cube corruption faster,  and provides extra reosurces from defeated dark enemies.

Knight is probably up there with Crafter for the most long-term effectiveness out of the available classes. Despite it only applying to a specific type of enemy, it is still a useful class and one to consider using.
