Soulmask Best Base Location Tips
The best location to make your starter camp is kind of dependent on your own habits, some locations are low on resources but also have few enemies around, some have lots of resources but are also flocked with enemies. For the early game I’d recommend somewhere with more resources so you can collect crafting materials with ease.
One of the best locations is a body of water located between the two ancient ruins pictured above. This is a safe area with only one tough enemy, the rest should be relatively easy to take down. What makes it stand out is the bounty of resources on hand, you can get clay, tin, copper, and whatever is in the nearby ruins.
This location also won’t pen you in and make it impossible to advance as it is in a decent location for getting further into the game so while you will definitely change your base late in the game, this spot should get you through most of the playthrough.
