Master Your Timing

There are a few different pitching types to pick from but regardless of what one you choose, you absolutely have to be great at it. Taking time to practice and pitch until you’re comfortable can make or break your career at the mound.

Work the Count

The AI isn’t stupid..well mostly. If you throw nothing but strikes the batter will see through you and you’ll be eating hits before you know it. Mix in bad balls with your strikes to keep the computer guessing and work the count to bait them into swinging at a bad pitch.

Target The Corners

The best thing to do int he game is to aim for the corners when throwing into the strike zone. Attack down low, attack over the box, and attack the corners to again keep the batter guessing and make it as difficult as possible for the batter to get a clean hit.

Remain Calm

It can be easy to lose the rag when you let a hit or two through but it’s always best to reset and take each new batter as a fresh opportunity. If you start to doubt yourself you’ll likely start making mistakes and forget to follow the previous tips which will only leas to the other team scoring.
