Cyborg Build
Character Type
The Cyborg comes equipped with a minigun which benefits from a buff of 300% for range damage modifications. Halfway through a wave your Ranged Damage is converted to Engineering which can be taken advantage of with turrets. In exchange for these strengths the build has poor melee skills and elemental damage modifications have a 100% reduction in effectiveness.
Weapons
Since this comes with a minigun that is the best weapon to keep on hand for the playthrough. I would also pick a wrench to start with as this allows you to spawn a turret to make use of the halfway switch to engineering points.

As the game progresses it can be beneficial to pick up more ranged weapons to increase your versatility but make sure to focus on getting as many turrets down as possible to deal with the second half of a wave.
Upgrades
The kind of items to go after are the ones that knockback enemies. Because the Cyborg build has no melee skills it is important to keep distance between yourself and the enemies so these items can be the difference between survival and death.
