MLB The Show 26 Best Pitches Walkthrough – New Meta

Sweeper

The Sweeper is a must for any pitcher, it can leave even the highest difficulty CPU swinging at air and forces bad connection. It has a slow speed and a sharp spin which makes it tough to hit and tends to end up at the outer edges of the zone, making it harder to get good connection.

4 Seam Fastball

The fastest fastball available to the player, it is your safety net for running up counts or dealing with great hitters. It is best mixed with the slower pitches on this list to keep the batter guessing.

Cutter

The other fastball option, the Cutter has a sharp turn that can send it towards the batter or away from his reach, it’s a good one to use to bait a strike on a foul throw or to force bad connection on the contact.

Sinker

The Sinker is always a great one in MLB The Show games, it drops down sharply, allowing you to plug it into the bottom corners of the zone and force a bad hit.

Changeup

A final tool in the arsenal, getting a slow changeup can fake out batters in tense situations. Best used  in a tough spot, it can follow up faster pitches to get the batter out of rhythm and cause a bad hit on an early swing.
