MLB The Show 26 Batting Stance Walkthrough – Best Batting Stance Settings & Animations
The Shohei Otani base stance is considered one of the better ones to use. This is a more balanced stance that can hit the ball to each of the three outfielder areas. Depending on your own style of play this is the best stance to use.
If you want pure Home Run power then give your player the Barry Bonds batting stance, this one is the obvious best for home run power and will have you hitting dingers.
If your player is a leftie then using Corey Seager’s batting stance is the best option.
For the custom settings you can then make some alterations or make your own spin on a batting stance with Swing Style set to Two-Handed style 6 as the recommended best one. Using the Open Stance makes it easier to connect on inside pitches, with Stride Style 2 giving you a leg kick that times well with the pitcher’s release.
From there you can adjust the other hitting settings like Hand Offset Y to a higher value, Back Elbow Offset also goes to a higher value. Hips Offset Z and Foot Forward Offset Z get lower values. These settings will round out your hitting stance to cover power and pitches at the edge of the box.
