Once Human Aluminum Ore Tips
Juggling everything this game asks of you with stocking up on aluminum isn’t exactly an easy job. This is particularly true because you can’t get tools to mien it properly until you progress to a certain point. It’s more of a mid-game discovery than something you do right from the start.
The first thing you’ll need to do is unlock the tools to crack the aluminum ore nodes. To do this you’ll have to reach the Steel Pickaxe on the Memetic. It’s in the infrastructure part, below the foraging techniques. You’ll then need to actually make the pickaxe which requires Steel ingots. At Level 28 you can get iron from the Iron River area to help you build the ingots and pickaxe.
Now, you have to find the nodes. The Chalk Peak is considered the best location for aluminum ore in Once Human. Each region tends to have one resource in great supply and Chalk Peak is the place to go for Aluminum.
You can of course find nodes scattered throughout the game’s open world it just becomes a matter of identifying them. You’ll have to look for a shiny silver colour coming from the rock to signal the presence of aluminum.
The best place though is in Chalk Peak, this is a Level 32 area so be careful and stock up there once you’ve arrived as it’ll make the rest of your travels much easier.
With this Aluminum you’ll be able to craft some of the more advanced gear and items in the game which will help you out as you progress through the harder areas.
