F1 24 Spain Setup Walkthrough

Track Characteristics

The Spanish track is an interesting prospect. It has a mix of high-speed turns and some very harsh turns that require you to slow down. It is a track that is historically difficult to overtake on, with the elevation changes and different turns making it a challenge for most drivers.

Aerodynamics

A front wing setting of 40 and a rear wing setting of 30 is generally agreed to be the best way to counter this track’s quirks. It should provide enough grip to manage the harder turns while allowing you to keep speed on the quicker ones.

Transmission

Engine Braking down to 40 with Differential on throttle being set to 30. Off throttle goes to 45 which will allow you to turn well enough without sacrificing grip or stability.

Suspension Geometry

Lowest camber angles are useful once again with front at -3.5 and rear at -2.2. Both of the toe settings can be at 0 although the rear one can be raised by 0.2 or 0.3 and it won’t cause many problems.

Suspension

The following Suspension settings are the most optimal for this track:

  • Front Suspension: 36
  • Rear Suspension: 5
  • Front Anti-Roll Bar: 12
  • Rear anti-Roll Bar: 8
  • Front Ride Height: 27
  • Rear Ride Height: 55

Ride height is lower as the curbs are low enough and the higher rear allows for more downforce. Anti-Roll at 12/8 should be able to deal with the higher speed changes of direction that this track demands at times.

Brakes

Braking will generally be in and around the same level. Pressure of 99 with bias of 52 will get you through this one.

Tyres

Back to the meta for this one. 29.5 for the front, 26.5 for the read pressure. This is a setting that is almost guaranteed to work but some tracks can see you tinker with this for optimisation.
