Palia Ancient Amber Beetle Walkthrough

There is no specific timeframe for this bug, while some things can only be caught at certain times of the day this is one that can be found anytime you’re playing which makes it a small bit easier.

This beetle can be found in the forests in northern Bahari Bay, specifically the areas of Proudhorn Pass, Thorny Thicket, Statue Garden, Flooded Steps and The Outskirts. There is also a small chance that chopping down Sapwood trees anywhere in the bay will spawn one of these beetles.

The best thing to do when trying to catch one is to be prepared in the forested areas to throw smoke bombs and slow it down. You will need one of these for a bundle but any extra ones can be sold for a decent chunk of coins.
