Tokyo Xtreme Racer Tuning Walkthrough
Final Drive
This ratio will decide whether there’s a focus on top speed or acceleration. At 1:1 it will be a speed focus, holding top speeds for higher and being more effective over long stretches. Anything going above 3 is focused more on acceleration and should be used when there’s less long straights.
Ride Height/Suspension
Lower ride height is preferred, that’s really only a setting that is used when there’s high barriers in F1 games. Here you can keep the car lower. Stiff suspension has proven to be pretty effective in most driving games and it is the same here, the back half can be looser, it’s the front where you want the suspension to kepe things steady.
Brakes
Soft brakes are the best type to go with but not too soft. You want it to be easy to navigate turns so you can take them smoothly without coming to an absolute halt on harsh turns.
Gearing
This seems to just be another version of the starting ratio with the gears focusing on either top speed or acceleration. Having it too high or too low will be a disaster, so try and keep it somewhere in the median section.
